Honestly, Clint, I feel haunted by Liebster. It's is all over the place. I just posted my own responses and questions, popped over to my "blogs I read" and there you were, top of the list, Liebster-ing. I don't believe in hauntings and more than I believe in fate, but sometimes there are signs saying I should listen. I'm heeding. Perhaps I'll have an epiphany as I respond to your questions, or maybe it's just that I needed a good prompt to say hello over here. Hello.
My answers:
1. Several of my bloggy friends "coaxed" me to start a blog. I suspect it was because I was hijacking the blogs with my lengthy comments on their posts.
2. I appreciate that he is a truly good man who honestly seeks to better himself as a man and as a person.
3. I think he appreciates that I am a good person who loves him deeply and treats him well.
4. I've often asked myself that, but I can't choose. I've never been outside the U.S. There are many countries I'd like to visit and, after having done so, I'd have a better idea where I would choose.
5. I met D as a child. His family lived on the same street as my aunt. We met again years later when we attended the same high school.
6. I want to say that I would ensure D and I stayed together from the time we were young and dating, but that would mean I wouldn't have the children I have, and I could never wish them away. So, I would have worked far fewer extra hours when my children were young, so I could have spent more time with them.
7. I want to see the world, because it has so much to offer, so many amazing sights, people, cultures.
8. In 5 years, I see myself exactly where I am now, which is wherever D is, loving him more that day than I did the day before, knowing I will love him more tomorrow.
9. Resilience or humor - I would let them choose.
10. Christmas Eve with my parents, siblings, our children, my grandchildren, extended relatives or anyone else who stops by. I love having all of us together.
11. I would end evil intent.
I'm glad I stopped in to play, Clint. I'm not sure I had an epiphany, but I did have fun. Enjoy your weekend!

Dear Sir, I am pleased that you liked New York, when you visited this great city of ours. Frank Sinatra once sang, about this town in a song called "New York, New York". It also pleases me that as a 'spanko', you spank your wife, when she needs, this type of discipline.
This was fun to read Clint. I enjoyed getting to know you a little better.
What inspired to to start your blog? Honestly you all did. All of the encouragement from LOL day inspired me to not be a lurker and jump into the blogging world.
What do you appreciate the most about your spouse? His loyalty. Bucko is the most steadfast person I know, and I love that he is always willing to stand by the people he loves.
What do you think your spouse appreciates the most about you? I would like to think my kindness.
If you had to live in one country aside from your home country for the rest of your life, where would you live and why? Probably England, I love the history and literature and I think that would appeal to me and keep me entertained for a long time.
How did you meet your spouse? We were in the same class in elementary school.
If you had ONE "do over" and could change one thing about your past, what would it be? I let someone I thought I loved in college talk me into leaving school to be with him. I would change that.
Where is one place you haven't visited that you'd like to visit before you die? Why that place? London. Same reasons as above.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Right where I am now, but hopefully with a couple of kids.
If you have children, what one quality of yours do you hope they pass on to their own children (your grandchildren)? If you don't have children, what one quality in yourself do you hope to pass on to your children if/when you have them? Compassion for others. I think that if you are willing to put others before yourself good things will happen all around.
What family tradition means the most to you, and why? Green cheesy potato casserole on Christmas Eve, because that is the first tradition that Bucko and I started on our own together. It's the only one that is really "ours"
If you could fix one global problem, which one would it be, and why? I think it would be homelessness. I would like to see a world where every child had a safe place to be every night.
You need to work on your answer to #2 - say it with me, C-A-N-A-D-A!
Here's my answers since I put off doing a Leibster award post on my own blog.
1.What inspired to to start your blog? Meeting a few other bloggers in the LDD Network. His First Mate actually hounded me (lol) until I agreed to start a blog, then Rogue came up with my blog title, Redbootywoman.
2.What do you appreciate the most about your spouse? He is very easy to love deeply for all his good qualities.
3.What do you think your spouse appreciates the most about you? He said the answer would be my ability to love children and to be a good mother. (Awwwww :-) )
4.If you had to live in one country aside from your home country for the rest of your life, where would you live and why? So many but I'll say Italy - I love pasta!
5.How did you meet your spouse? I wrote a blog post about our meeting on my blog, but basically fell into his lap at a conference in University.
6.If you had ONE "do over" and could change one thing about your past, what would it be? A HUGE financial mistake I made shortly after we were married that had consequences for a long time.
7.Where is one place you haven't visited that you'd like to visit before you die? Why that place? Nepal. We've been to India a few times and are going to India and Nepal for our 25th anniversary and I'm very excited to see the country.
8.Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Where I am but with older children. I'd like to foster other children as ours get older and move out of the house as adults.
9.If you have children, what one quality of yours do you hope they pass on to their own children (your grandchildren)? If you don't have children, what one quality in yourself do you hope to pass on to your children if/when you have them? That to be a follower of Christ is to show kindness to others, whether you like them or know them or not. And to struggle with this (especially when don't like someone) is what makes us human.
10.What family tradition means the most to you, and why? Again, so many. Sunday is "family day" in our family and no one is to make plans outside of the family. Friends etc can be invited to join, but we spend the day doing something together, sharing a meal at the table etc.
11.If you could fix one global problem, which one would it be, and why? Exploitation of children and women. Poverty. Hunger. Abuse. I would have a really hard time settling on one.
